I don’t love playing cricket, it’s just like watching cricket but closer and without a drink in your hand.

There are times when I am watching cricket, and I would give anything to be out in the middle and there are times when I couldn’t think of anything worse.

Despite this, cricket is just brilliant. It’s a war of attrition, it’s calm, it’s gripping, it’s spectacular, it’s infuriating and it’s unique.

Cricket is electric, but mostly from the other side of the boundary to the players where it is far less painful and stressful.

This blog doesn’t have a master plan. I just want to write about cricket.
